Introduction
Ryan Cunningham is a Portland Maine native who has been photographing sports for over 3 years. He is a current student at the University of Maine, majoring in Business Administration minoring in Graphic Design. Most of his time is spent in Orono, but over the summer you'll find him in Portland.
His talent is covering sporting events ranging from major Hockey East college hockey matchups to photos of his friends playing intramural sports. Ryan's images have been featured by the likes of the University of Maine, Hockey East Association & Alpha Sigma Phi National Headquarters.
In his spare time he enjoys playing pickup basketball, bowling with friends, going to the driving range to work on his swing.

Artist Statement
My goal as a photographer is to capture the moment through not the eyes of a person, but the perspective of the lenses. In doing so, I seek to provide a unique but realistic illustration on the current moment in frame. I greatly enjoy experimenting with perspective and lens optics during my shoots, and always put a focus on how depth of field affects the interpretation of a picture.
